Assist the company in evaluating and selecting events in which to participate. Suggest formats and strategies for particular events. Research locations and options for ancillary activities such as dinners, receptions, break-out sessions, etc. Create and maintain events schedule using the company's Outlook network scheduler.
  • Create infrastructure for ongoing conference coordination. Work with the company's staff to ascertain the marketing and conference preparation needs and develop a preparation and implementation workflow. Create the tools for the company to use for future planning and conference implementation including a conference preparation checklist, cost estimates spreadsheet and event summary reporting that will facilitate the company's staff in planning and coordinating future conferences.
  • Serve as the company's event liaison; work with event’s organizers as needed to prepare for event. Oversee event registration, equipment acquisition, shipments, and booth setup.
  • Coordinate catering, receptions and other sponsorship activities. Coordinate the company's employee attendees and their participation.

  • Coordinated and supervised an executive level healthcare reception at Mum’s restaurant in Long Beach in conjunction with conference. Designed, prepared and distributed hardcopy and electronic RSVP materials, collated RSVPs, handled all inquiries, prepared catering menu, music, rooftop seating layout, personally greeted all VIP guests and supervised party.
